The Gauley River Marathon is an action packed trip what beings at Summersville Dam and you will brave the rapids of both the Upper and Lower Gauley. For this ride, all hands on deck are required! From the put-in at Summersville Dam to our private, Sugar Creek takeout 23.5 miles later, this is one fabulous day of revered, ounding whitewater. Run over 100 named rapids, over 60 class III and IV+, and 6 class V+ monsters. No where will you see more whitewater in one day then on this trip.
